Event description

Thriving and Resilient Leadership

Latest findings and reflections on resilience, fulfilment and thriving in church leadership post-COVID

Join us in this webinar for the latest findings and reflections on how Australian church leaders are coping and what factors contribute to their resilience, based on the results from the 2021-22 NCLS Leader Survey.

After the initial shock and adaptations of the COVID-19 pandemic, many local church leaders found they were more in demand than ever. More people in need are turning to their minister, pastor or priest as a constant in their lives. The last few years have been a fulfilling time, as well as an incredibly demanding time for church leaders.

Responses to our 2021-22 NCLS Leader Survey show satisfaction levels are high, as well as greater exhaustion levels. We suggest for leaders, this can’t be your new normal. This webinar aims to help you as a leader to find an equilibrium you can sustain, to help you to thrive in your role.

Date: Weds 2nd Aug
Time : Choose to attend either the 11am or 7.30pm session

You will discover:
  • What does thriving look like and what is burnout?
  • How has it changed in Australian church leadership over the past 5 years? Are current practices sustainable?
  • What are the personal foundations that contribute to resilience and sustainable leadership?
  • Practical ministry implications, case studies and guiding principles for leaders.
